"This was a testing shoot to say the least. I'd just got off an eight-hour train journey for most of which I didn't have a seat. To add to my discomfort, I was suffering from food poisoning and was severely dehydrated. Arriving at Mazury, the only thing on my mind was bed, but the light was beautiful and the sunset serene. Despite my discomfort, I'm glad I persisted and got the shots."

This 18-hole course is cherished by its members because of the testing design created by Martin Hawtree. Full of interesting features, like the tightly packed bunkers surrounding the second or the lake and forested area that frame the fifth, the holes brim with menace and fun each demanding considered play and imagination. The sixth is a cracker with two large bunkers splitting the wide fairway and a large lake protecting a steeply undulating green.
